Marigold flowers are a natural way to invite yellow hues for your textile and craft projects. As a member of the CSA program at The Color Farm, we are gifted a box each summer/autumn month filled with two featured dye flowers. For August, marigold & fresh leaf indigo are the colorful stars! Join me as I explore this amazing wildflower and an over-dye option for your dye pot that can bring green to your palette as well. This tutorial will show you how to brew & dye merino wool yarn with marigold, as well as over-dye fresh leaf indigo.
