In 2019, the Diller-von Furstenberg Family Foundation made a generous gift to the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA to establish two endowed chairs - The Diller-von Furstenberg Family Endowed Chair in Human Genetics and The Diller-von Furstenberg Family Endowed Chair in Precision Clinical Genomics. These separate but complementary chairs will help UCLA recruit and retain faculty in these leading-edge disciplines for years to come and help shape the future of genetic research and personalized medicine.
