Looking to backpack the Alice Toxaway Loop in the Sawtooth Wilderness of Idaho?
Follow along with me as I take my 19 year old daughter backpacking in the Sawtooth Mountains in Idaho. We did the Alice-Toxaway Loop, going couter-clockway. We started at Pettit Lake, then spent our first night at Farley Lake. We continued on the next morning, going over Snowy-side pass of 9,452 feet, to end up at Twin Lakes. The trail was well marked and easy to follow without getting lost. I've backpacked different regions of the US and Nepal and I'd say this is one of the tops.
