ADIP International Diver Training Standards and Procedures .
ADIP Three Stars Diver Training Programme.
1. Purpose of the training program.
This training program is based on the skills acquired during the lessons mastered during the two-star diving training.
These skills allow them to plan, organize and conduct dives and other underwater sports to a maximum recommended depth of fifty-seven (57) meters, while respecting safety and competence.

2. Classification.
The Three Star Diver Training Program is classified as a Dive Supervisor entry level for the Diver Training Program.

3 Skills of a ADIP certified Three Star Diver.
The Three Star diver has undergone a training allowing him, when supervised by a ADIP instructor, to demonstrate satisfactorily his knowledge at a professional level of the theories of diving, his competence in terms of rescue, his abilities of management and supervision, exemplary diving skills, experience as a diver in order to plan, perform and conduct dives or any other underwater sport activity in open water, competently and safely.

A three-star ADIP diver is qualified for:
Assess the risks incurred on a site that is proposed to it and determine the necessary security to be implemented.
Drive any diving sport.
Conduct any specialized diving sport activity for which he has received the relevant training.
Plan and carry out emergency procedures appropriate to the diving environment and corresponding activities.
Act as an assistant to a ADIP instructor to monitor students and improve safety.
However, the ADIP Three Star Diver is not qualified to personally teach knowledge and skills to participants of a dive training program.

4 Requirements for participation in the training program.
To enable him to follow this Three Star Diver course, the participant must:
Be at least sixteen (16) years old. There is no upper age limit.
Hold ADIP certificates (or the following diving training equivalents:
ADIP Two Star diver training program (or equivalent).
ADIP oxygen administration training program (where it is not prohibited by law).
ADIP diver rescue training program (or equivalent)
Provide proof of at least fifty (50) open water dives since obtaining the Two Star diploma, these dives including night dives, those with reduced visibility, deep dives (between thirty (30) and forty (40) meters), dives in the current, in ice water and those with orientation.
Effectively demonstrate marine capabilities by performing in front of a ADIP instructor swimming and physical condition assessments meeting ADIP Federation criteria.
