A live virtual taping of the popular math podcast My Favorite Theorem with hosts Kevin Knudson and Evelyn Lamb. In each episode, we talk with a mathematician about their favorite mathematical result, and because the best things in life are better together, we ask them to suggest a pairing for their theorem--anything from food or beverage to music, art, or sports. Our guest Annalisa Crannell will shine a light on Desargues's triangle theorem, which shows how projective geometry can be a tool to illuminate the work of perspective artists. After Dr. Crannell gives us her best pitch for Desargues's theorem, we will open the floor to other attendees to share their bite-sized favorite theorems and pairings.
