Fox News 8, based in Greensboro North Carolina, featured Black Rocket and UNCG's Esports Camps collaboration from the summer of 2022.

Four one-week summer camps were being offered on campus in computer labs and the brand new Esports arena, a new state-of-the-art 3,300 square feet esports facility.

The summer camps consisted of two major topics being covered throughout the week – one in the morning and one in the afternoon and also some time allotted for gameplay and competitions.
