We have officially kicked off the epic travel challenge of visiting 22 new countries in 2022 starting with Ireland! From the bustling, historical city of Dublin to the charming quaint town of Ennis, we got a dose of two very different types of Irish living on our first trip of 2022 (plus, learned a few tips that you need to know if you want to visit Dublin or Ennis!). With just over 72 hours in Dublin and 48 hours in Ennis, we started our 22 in '22 tour with a bang(ers and mash)!!! Check out some major #traveltips for visiting Ireland and these two amazing cities, down below!
Things you MUST do in Dublin:
+ Grab a hot cuppa and walk the old cobblestone roads. Take note of all the historical buildings mixed with modern skyscrapers.
+ Go to the Old Library and the Book of Kells (this was our FAVORITE thing we did in Dublin and highly recommend it!)
+ Check out the Dublin Castle - Bridgeton vibes to the max!
+ Love Guinness? You gotta tour the Guinness storehouse and learn about this centuries-old pint (plus, you get one included in your tour at the Gravity bar which has some of the best views of Dublin!!)
Things you MUST do in Ennis:
+ Take a Bus to see the Cliffs of Moher (we used bus #350 "Galway via the Cliffs" and it was a 20 euro ticket per person)
+ Walk the streets of this quaint village and immerse yourself in the Irish lifestyle.
+ Since Ennis is way more affordable that the more well-known Galway, take a day trip there to see the city without having to pay for accommodations at a steep price!
