This is the secret for redfish and trout in the heat! we went kayak fishing for speckled trout and redfish in Ingleside Texas. It was hot and difficult but so was the bite. Targeting cooler water next to structure and cover was the key to success in the Texas heat.

Species include redfish, speckled trout, flounder, black drum, sailfish, tarpon and much more. I truly love throwing topwater. Saltwater tackle includes 6th Sense wake baits, Salt Strong paddle tails, and Heddon topwater spooks and texas eyes jig heads. When I go saltwater kayak fishing I hit multiple areas.
