NZTS Workshops recently dropped their second TS add-on for Steam; the New Zealand Railways DJ class Loco Pack. This is a huge collection of all the liveries that the DJs have carried throughout their service lives (1968 to 1991). There are no preservation-era liveries in this pack, as far as I know.
Based on the results of a recent poll I conducted (on my community tab, mind), the Midland Line was the most popular choice of route to run the DJ class livery pack on. And that's exactly what I've done here. But because I'm still getting poor performance from this route, I had to lower the graphics settings for this run.
In this video, we'll be driving DJ 1255 - painted in NZR blue/grey with wasp stripes - on a passenger run from Aickens to Otira. This is gameplay of the scenario 'Tramped Out', which comes with the DJ livery pack, and on our way to Otira we must stop next to a large wooden bridge to pick up some trampers. Upon arrival in Otira, we will drop off the passengers before parking the coaches in the yard. Lastly we'll drive our locomotive up to the workshop, where she will be parked alongside a trio of EO class electric locomotives.
(The EOs are included with the Midland Line route pack, while the extra DJ liveries are sold separately).
