The main reason why UnitedMasters is not the best option for distribution is because it is more expensive then the other distribution companies like DistroKid and Tunecore. UnitedMasters offers basically two options when it comes to distributing your music.

The Basic Option which is FREE to sign up, but they take 10% of all your streaming royalties.

Or the Select Option which is $59.99 a year. (More expensive than DistroKid and Tunecore)
