The final additions to this build will be a maxed secret garden. Also tech skill now helps my damage in any situation more than dimension after they nerfed spurt’s cooldown.
So I plan to also use a tech boosting reactor to further increase dash’s damage but mainly jetpack for colossi. This build is awesome though because it feels great EVERYWHERE…low cooldowns is still vital to maintain the tankiness of Kyle and that plus shields still lets his jetpack do decent colossus damage. But he’s utterly invincible too AND still not bad at mobbing after they buffed spurt’s range and let you spam dash.
Finally, still don’t know what trans mod I want on him. They all stop appear quite underwhelming honestly…though I may try the magnetic spurt one (since I plan to invest more in tech now so that mod may help balance his spurt damage higher ti compensate) since frankly he doesn’t help his teammate’s shield much anyway…most descendants don’t have high shield and the few that do like other Kyle’s and Ajax’s don’t NEED the ally recovery lol. Superconductive bombing is apparently much more op now but it’s only good in colossi and open areas (try navigating all the damage perfectly in dungeons…you know what I’m sure it’s possible but I don’t feel like trying) and most importantly requires you giving up your tankiness to make it OP still. However, you maintain the lower cooldown of thrusters with it equipped so I may try it on my own build later just to fly more cause that’s why I play Kyle lol. It would be better using that for special operation missions with skill silencing elites…now you don’t have to be near anything with dash to build magnetic force quickly so you could just spam dash away from the waves followed by flying over them dropping bombs before returning to a safe distance to repeat.
So yes I definitely plan to use that mod for THAT at least as that would be fun and wouldn’t require giving up any of my current mods for the sake maxing damage (since you don’t need that for it to still kill mobs in wave missions).
I think he’s one of the best now for infiltration missions since he does just enough damage with jetpack to either one tap or massively damage the boss while also still being good for mobbing and being much tankier too.
I still his jetpack needs its cooldown halved back to what it was because that’s what made him FUN and honestly it’s still NOTHING compared to Lepic or Hailey’s dps. I say nerf its damage by 25% but half its cooldown to add another effective “buff” to Kyle that makes him more fun but isnt overkill on a buff. We play him to fly and they nerfed the fly timer…not a fan of that at all.
BUT…there’s no question he’s WAY better now and that’s almost solely because they finally gave him SHIELD REGEN!
Hilariously I still don’t plan to use the new shield mods on him. Not worth giving up and he still gets enough shield regen on his skills now. Instead, I’ll actually add bio-sync to my Ajax shield tank instead who is still, btw, a more reliable tank than Kyle but Kyle can truly dish out more damage now than Ajax so he’s got that at least…
