(WSNs) comprises sensor nodes which consist of transducers, radio transceiver, and wireless interfaces that gather data from the environment.
Sensor nodes manages and monitors the environment in a particular area. They are connected to the Base Station which acts as a processing unit in the System.
Base Station in a WSN System is connected through the Internet to share data.
Applications of wireless sensor network
Military applications: Tracking and environment monitoring surveillance can be done using these kinds of networks. Security detections and enemy tracking are performed by using these networks.
Health applications: These networks are generally used by doctors to track and monitor patients.
Transport systems: Most frequently used wireless sensor networks are in the transport systems like dynamic routing management, monitoring of traffic, and monitoring of parking lots, etc., use these networks.
Environmental trackings: Forest detection, animal tracking, weather prediction, flood detection, forecasting are done using these networks.
