In Sunset Riders for the Super Nintendo (and this might also work on the Sega Genesis version) both players in a two player game normally can't choose the same character. However, there is an easy workaround to this limitation that allows two people to pick the same character. There's no real benefit to performing this exploit, but it's kinda neat and a little bit funny.

To execute this glitch (and glitch might not be entirely accurate here) first begin a 1 Player game and get a game over. Then on the Continue screen, press start on the second controller to continue your game. Next, have the second player select the same character the first player was just playing. When the game starts, press Start on the first player controller, and both players can play as the same character.

Now you can have two Steves in one game! Or Billy or Bob or Cormano.
