A local unit office of All Assam Students' Union at Bilasipara in Assam's Nalbari district has been vandalised by miscreants. Sensation prevails in the entire area following the incident.
Pictures of renowned Assamese personalities and legends including that of Dr Bhupen Hazarika and Jyoti Prasad Agarwala were found torn inside the office.
Local AASU leaders have alleged that the Student organisation's office has been targetted for its opposition to the #CitizenshipAmendmentBill.
Meanwhile, reactions came in from AASU General Secretary Lurin Jyoti Gogoi.
The incident has certainly brought back memories of the infamous attack on AASU office in Silapathar in 2017.
