Kalba Water Front located in the eastern part of the Emirate of Sharjah on Kalba Lagoon, and close to a unique RAMZAR natural reserve site, this development involves the design of an F&B, retail and entertainment center intended to transform this location into a prime destination in the UAE for locals and tourists. It includes a crescent-like shopping mall on one floor with a built-up area of around 20,000m2 of international F&B outlet brands, retails, family entertainment center, and a hypermarket, all focused on landscaped waterfront promenade and activity plazas, and a large iconic fountain, together with a nearby 75m high flagpole. The project design reflects aspects of traditional souqs in Sharjah and the Arab region in its general planning and composition, and through the use of traditional materials and details, within a contemporary architectural narrative, using state of the art technologies for international mall developments.
