How to put a Mazdaspeed 6 spoiler on a base model mazda 6 trunk! Same method can be similarly applied to any car with a ducktail spoiler. Car was road tested numerous times. A 50 mile long highway trip averaging 70 MPH for 45 minutes and hitting highs of 80+ MPH. Multiple highway trips at 60 MPH. It's been two weeks and it has held up great. The 3M double-sided tape works great. Was my first time using the product. Product was called 3M super strength molding tape. I specifically used two rolls of 1/2 inch wide x 5ft wide double sided tape.
This specific install was for 2006-2007 mazdaspeed spoiler on a 2003-2008 mazda 6i or mazda 6s.
I'd also like to note that it is up to you to monitor how your spoiler is holding up. Certain chemicals among other things can break up the 3M tape's adhesion so make sure you are aware and monitoring the spoiler weekly.
