Churchill is an adult male Grey-Headed Flying-Fox who was rescued 5 days ago. He was found on the ground in the entrance to an underground carpark. He was quite concussed and after initial crankiness he settled down to lying down and sleeping. The next day he decided he was fine and was happy to hang, but after a few hours he was hanging poorly - leaning against the side of the cage and hunched and unhappy. He was put back to bed for the night and he didn't protest.
Well look at him now - he's one of the crowd and doesn't like to be front and centre.
He's doing fine, but whether or not he's ready for release in a few days is up to him and the carer assessing him.
I have my fingers crossed.
