Reflux, by the time that you come to me with symptoms, is an anatomic abnormality. So, certainly, the medication can alter the pH of the stomach and therefore the amount of reflux that's occurring. It's not as harmful or as painful. It does not cure the disease. And so, when we talk about understanding the anatomy, understanding the physiology, alternating and improving that anatomy - that's the cure for reflux.
