I started buying vintage clothes in my teens. I couldn't afford the trends coming down the runway, so I looked to less expensive alternatives. It soon became apparent to me that these thrift store finds were the actual origins of what I was seeing in the magazines. Yes, that was back in the day when people still read cover to cover print magazines 😜. I can't really describe the giddiness and excitement I feel when I find a good vintage resource. All I know is I get a little flushed and a little tickle in my tummy, and the hunt begins.
