Kerala, God’s own country with scenic locations, is also home to narrow roads, posing travel challenges to visitors. To alleviate the problem of congested roads, the NHAI has initiated the expansion of existing roads to six lanes. This will help tourists and locals have smooth travels. For this project, we are executing a 37-km stretch between Chengala and Neeleshwaram. So far, we have completed laying the DBM road for 6 km, and other structures and superstructures are under construction. In addition, we are building two bridges in this project. For one major bridge, substructure works have been completed, and substructure works are in progress for the other.
