STORYLINE:
A car bomb exploded late on April 13th in front of the Moroccan embassy in the Libyan capital, Tripoli.
The explosion caused significant damage to the embassy building, as well as surrounding buildings in Tripoli's residential neighbourhood of Al-Nofeleen.
Libyan officials said no casualties were reported in the bombing.
It came only hours after gunmen opened fire at the nearby South Korean Embassy early on April 12th, killing two security guards.
Supporters of the Islamic State group's affiliate in Tripoli claimed responsibility on social media for both attacks later on April 12th.
They threatened that more attacks on foreign embassies and diplomatic missions in the capital were going to follow.
Militant groups operate freely in Libya, which is torn between a militia-backed government in Tripoli and an internationally recognised government in the east.

Factional fighting continued to rage in the Libyan city of Benghazi, which has been ravaged by conflict since last October.
More than 800 people have died - many of them civilians - in clashes between Islamist militants and forces loyal to the internationally-recognized government in Tobruk.
Government fighters claim to be making advances and gaining more ground every day in fighting in the south-west of the city, and hope they will take over northern Benghazi within a week.
More than 90,000 civilians have been displaced, and random shelling and rocket attacks have caused extensive damage.

Libyan soldiers on May 20th fought with militants from the Islamic State group in the eastern city of Benghazi.
Fighting has been raging in Benghazi for nearly a year, mostly between army units and fighters loyal to the internationally-recognised government on one side, and Islamic extremists, including militants from Islamic State and its affiliates, on the other.
The fighting has killed hundreds and displaced thousands and reduced most of the city's infrastructure to rubble.
