Annandale Distillery, located in Dumfries and Galloway, has been producing exceptional single malts since its revival in 2014, having been mothballed way back in 1918, then finally closed in 1921.
The Man O’Swords series, named in honour of Robert the Bruce, celebrates the distillery’s peated whisky range.
Aged exclusively in an ex-bourbon barrel, which enhances the whisky’s smoky character.
The whisky is bottled at cask strength to preserve its full intensity, offering enthusiasts a robust and unfiltered taste of Annandale’s artistry. Distilled in 2015 and matured in a single ex-bourbon cask, this limited-edition release is bottled at a powerful cask strength of 57.1% ABV. With no chill filtration or added colour, this whisky captures the essence of Annandale’s craftsmanship in its purest form.
