Daniel Pipes is the President of the Middle East Forum. A former official in the US departments of State and Defense, he has taught at the University of Chicago and Harvard University.
He has written 12 books and currently writes a bi-weekly column for the Washington Times, National Review, and other publications.
His current focus is on the Middle Eastern political upheavals. He talks about 'Islamism', its danger to both Muslims and non-Muslims.
