It’s that time of the year where the LIRR runs their very popular Montauk summer trains! The first diesel equipment was on train 6005 from Montauk to Jamaica which was extended to Penn Station, along with 6011. Both those trains terminates at Jamaica, but it was still cool seeing them even though I missed both of them going west. 6017 is pretty much the same as before 8717 but it departs Montauk slightly earlier than 8717. Nonetheless pretty stoked on these summer trains!
