Hello
This is a quick video showing how to perform a GPU undervolt. Undervolting a GPU means running it at reduced voltage and frequency to improve temperatures, increase performance, reduce power draw and improve gpu life expectancy.
In the video I have benchmarked my RTX 3080 using the game Zombie Army 4: Dead War. I tested the game at 2560x1440 (1440p) resolution. My graphics card is the Nvidia RTX 3080 Founders Edition, which is cooled by an EK 3080 FE waterblock in a custom watercool loop. The system has a Ryzen 7 5800X cpu running at 4.5Ghz, and the memory is 2x16GB DDR4 3800mhz.
The first benchmark shows the results when the RTX 3080 is running at stock voltage, with core clock frequencies between 1965Mhz to 1710Mhz.
The second benchmark shows the results when an undervolt is applied to the graphis card, with core frequencies between 2040Mhz to 1635Mhz tested.
Lastly I demonstrate how to safely apply an undervolt to my graphics card.
The software used in the video is:
