Road Trip #707 - I-290 West - Illinois Mile 29-20
We head west out of Chicago, onto I-290, the Dwight D. Eisenhower Expressway, a.k.a. The Ike, or just The Eisenhower. We travel west with Chicago Transit Authority's Blue Line 'L'-Train running alongside us in the median. As we leave Chicago, we pass through the villages of Oak Park, Forest Park and Maywood.
