- 'Intriguing' remains the most appropriate word here. In the drydown, the leather becomes more prominent, but each time you think it's going to push the scent into predictable, familiar, 'Arabic rose + leather' territories, that strange, tart-boozy apple from the top reappears and causes you to reconsider. A typically engaging, perplexing, unfathomable Menardo creation.
