A peek at one of my writing venues. In fact, it's more of a thinking place, as I get distracted by the views and the dragonflies.

Where I write really influences what I produce, but it's sometimes not actual writing that goes on in these places. Being outside is crucial for me if I'm going to be productive.

Do you have an outside space you can go to to reboot and refresh your brain? What places help your creative processes?

My Well Beloved built this little cabin, all sketched out on the back of an envelope, designed in his feverish hippy brain. The perfect place for unblocking a frazzled writer. Or for a barbecue. Or to just sit and be.

I think we sometimes need to do more being and less doing, don't you?
