First time recording racing with this camera. I should have turned off the image stabilization feature, for, as you can see, it created a lot of horizontal jitter while I panned. It would have been steadier to turn it off!

Anyway, the first race of the day on Sunday at the 2012 TravelNevada.com Reno National Championship Air Races and Air Show Presented by Breitling was the Formula 1 class Gold Medal final. These are fixed-gear kit planes.

I'll have more race videos (and airshow clips) coming up, though unfortunately my camera's battery died before the end of the day.
