Paul Clapham will outline the role of waste and resource recovery technologies in a circular economy with specific reference to research undertaken by Melbourne Waste and Resource recovery group (MWRRG) into the future need for solutions to manage residual municipal solid waste (MSW) within the Melbourne Metropolitan Region.
The presentation will explore the inter-relationships between recycling, energy recovery and disposal solutions and how these can align with social pressures to reduce the generation of waste.
