On Friday (20 December), the Sensex closed at 78,041 with a fall of 1176 points. At the same time, Nifty also fell by 364 points, it closed at 23,587.
Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 20 rose and 10 fell. While 45 Nifty stocks saw a fall and only 5 rose.All sectoral indices of NSE declined on Friday. The biggest fall was in Nifty Realty by 3.84%, Nifty Bank by 2.58%, Nifty IT by 2.42% and Nifty Auto by 2.07%.
