Twelve soldiers will appear in court early January 2020 in connection with the disappearance of 19 R4 assault rifles from a military base near Pretoria earlier this week. They all work at the Lyttelton Tek Base's Engineering Formation HQ Unit. They were denied bail when they appeared in a military court last night. Contrary to earlier claims by the SA National Defence Union's Pikkie Greef, the investigating officer told the court that none of the weapons had been recovered
