For many years, I have dreamed about photographing Alpine wildlife during the brutal grip of winter. This January, I finally made it happen, and went on an eight-day long expedition in the company of Mateusz Piesiak and Levi Fitze. I travelled around Switzerland and France and visited exceptional locations for wildlife photography, capturing some of my best images to date. In the first video in this mini-series, I photograph Alpine birds from atop a mountain in the heart of Switzerland. Come along for a film of bird photography, friendship and wild adventure, and stay tuned for the continuation!

The species I photograph in this video include the bearded vulture, golden eagle, white-winged snow finch, Alpine accentor and yellow-billed chough/Alpine chough.
