This is the second test of a new tube mic I finished building a week ago. It's a U47 based on two 408A tubes, and uses a Heiserman M7 capsule. Burn-in time was completed, and I estimate it received between 50 to 60 hours of burn in time.
The mic is plugged into an MP573 preamp set at 40 (3rd notch). Recorded mounted on a desktop mic stand.
Second part with Cordoba GK Studio guitar done about 18 inches from the mic, still mounted on the desktop stand.
