IX EDITION of the Tuscany Trail
Started my journey in Manchester at 3am and got to Donoratico in the evening, aiming to start the ride the next morning already sleep deprived.
Started the ride with a bang....crashing after not even 2hrs in....
Trails were great, we experienced a bit of everything, from fast flowing gravel to clay fields and rocky singletrack.
Overall a great ride and experience, met a lot of nice people, battled heat, cold and mechanical issues.
Managed to raise over £1,000 for Cancer Research UK

After the TT I tried to get a train from Orbetello to see my family, only to find out I wasn't allowed on the train with the bike (the Orbetello-Siena route has trains from Medieval times).
Ended up adding another 130km and cycled to Cortona from Orbetello!
