Synopsis:
"Boston Blackie" comes to aid of young Geraldine Payton, who is being harassed by two crooks. The young mother asks him to protect her and her baby from her husband John. He was serving a prison sentence and has recently been released. When John and Blackie meet, an argument ensues, in which an unknown third shoots John. Inspector Farrady arrives at the scene and concludes Blackie is the murderer. Blackie protests his innocence and flees the scene. With the law on his heels, Boston Blackie is now in a race against time! Who is the stranger who shot John? What does Cyrus Peyton, Geraldine's rich father, have to do with the two crooks and why does Inspector Farraday warn Blackie about Geraldine?
