Ahmedabad: A mega traffic drive is currently in progress in the city on Friday. This is a joint operation of the Ahmedabad Police department and Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC). The drive is taking place in zone 5 and 6 of the city with the focus on illegal parking, stalls, and encroachment by hawkers on roads. A team of over 200 policemen is deployed in the drive along with AMC officers. Their objective was to deal with vehicles which were blocking the road.
