INDIA bloc MPs began their march from Vijay Chowk to the Parliament building at 10 am on Friday, demanding an apology and resignation from Home Minister Amit Shah for allegedly insulting Dr BR Ambedkar. Meanwhile, NDA MPs staged a protest on Parliament premises, accusing the Congress of disrespecting Ambedkar. This comes after the Speaker of the Lok Sabha, Om Birla, issued a directive prohibiting political parties or MPs from holding demonstrations at any of the gates of the Parliament House.
