Well the cause of the loud click clack from by BB30 bottom bracket was a 'notchy' bearing. I managed to bodge it (errr carry out an effective repair) by cleaning then packing the bearing with grease. This is just a temporary fix until I can sort out some sort of warranty repair. The self extracting crank bolt assembly (use 10mm hex socket) is marked 38-41nm. This temporary fix managed to get me (quietly) through an challenging long distance ride.
