Stanford men's soccer came away with a thrilling 2-1 penalty shootout victory over Seattle University behind goalkeeper Andrew Thomas' clutch performance on Sunday. Thomas blocked four of five shots in penalties, and secured the Cardinal victory with a block on Seattle's final attempt. The 7-seed Cardinal advances to the round of 16 where they will meet 10-seed Virginia Tech.
