CYBER FRAUDSTER ARRESTED BY CYBER CRIME POLICE
The Cyber Crime Police, Cyberabad arrested the accused Gollaladoddi Abdullah, R/o. Laxminagar, Kurnool District of A.P. State for cheating, threatening and blackmailing the victim.
Brief facts of the case:
Facts of the case are that, on 23.04.2019 at 20:00 hrs received a complaint from one victim. She Stated that, one person by name G. Abdullah introduced himself on phone as Dr G. Karthik Reddy, and working as Anesthetist at a reputed hospital at Hyderabad. The accused forced to transfer her personal contacts, photos etc. to his mobile phone. He constantly pressurizes her to concede for personal favours and demanding money. The said G. Abdullah cheated by personating, Forgery, Criminal intimidation, Extortion, Sexual Harassment to the Complainant.
During the course of investigation the accused is identified as Gollaladoddi Abdullah and arrested at his residing Pupalaguda, Manikonda, Gandipet, R R District, by the team led by Sri Ch.Ramaiah, Inspector of Police on 15.04.2019.
On enquiry with the accused it came to light that, the accused is presently working as Civil Engineer at Silfa Electrical at Kukatpally. He used to chat with many girls, married women who were in the dating site i.e. Tinder dating apps. in his fake ID as a doctor. He chats with them and collects all their information and photos and videos through online and used to save in his mobile phone.
After same days she requested him to stop their relationship. But, he denied, and started demanding money. If she dont accepts to his desires he blackmailed, he will upload the intimate photos and videos into social media to defame her character bad in front of her husband and society. The accused was extorted about 4 lakhs from the victim by transferring to his account in the guise of sexual desires by blackmailing. Like this he used to chat with girls and black mailing.
In view of the above acts, the accused was arrested and produced before the Hon’ble IX Addl M.M Court, Cyberabad at Kukatpally for judicial remand.
The team led by Sri Ch.Ramaiah, Inspector of Police, Cyber Crimes detected the case, under the guidance of Sri Ch.Y.Srinivas Kumar, ACP, Cyber Crimes and under the supervision of Dr Rohini Priyadarshini, DCP, Crimes, Cyberabad.
