Koh Nang Yuan is a unique tropical island in southern Thailand and one of the best day trips to be had from the nearby Koh Tao Island. You can visit the iconic Koh Nang Yuan Island Beach on a day tour getting there by waking a long tail boat taxi from from either Koh Tao, Koh Samui, or Koh
Phangan.
There are several interesting things to do at Nang Yuan island. The viewpoint at the top of the moutain is one of the main attraction, the sandbar connecting the islands also makes a nice place for tanning or swimming. I enjoyed the snorkeling on the west side of the island (opposite of the pier where the boats land), and you will see stunning diversity of marine life and an abundance of tropical fish species. There’s a resort and restaurant on the island, but be warned that the food in
the cafe is very overpriced for what you get.
