Here's a video poem made in 1974 by James Broughton himself. It's from his film 'Testament,' which he thought would be his last. (He made 7 more, mostly with soulmate/partner Joel Singer.) James and his students made shots of James' birthplace, Modesto, CA, when he was asked to speak at the opening of a new library. They also staged a funeral parade (25 years before he died) for James and he danced on the grave of his ancestors. You can see the parade on the Big Joy trailer, but not on YouTube -- it was censored because of nudity in James Broughton's 1967 film, THE BED!
