Day 7 was our last on the King Snefro Pearl before heading back to Sharm el-Sheikh and checking in to the luxurious Stella di Mare Hotel.
Our final dive was on Jackson Reef and it was a magnificent dive. The reef was buzzing with sea life and all the fish were very energetic. We saw a large school of Red Sea Banner fish. There were plenty of cleaning stations for the bigger fish and one of the cleaner wrasse also nibbled the inside of my ear a bit. The dive finished off with yet another beautiful turtle sighting, seeing turtles never gets old.
After our dive the boat started the journey back to port in Sharm el-Sheikh while we enjoyed our final breakfast at sea and time with the friendly crew. We packed our bags and waited to disembark in port. The kitchen assistant gave us a sendoff snack and we received our shoes after 7 days of no shoes (not allowed on an yacht). I struggled finding my land legs and was off balance and nauseas for the first two days back on land, didn't have problems on the boat.
The Stella di Mare Hotel is a luxurious hotel with two large pools, activities for young and old, a private beach and reef. It was the perfect place to get rid off our Nitrogen. Alcoholic beverages can be expensive as well as the 4 restaurants. I would recommend upgrading to the all inclusive package, it was 50USD extra but well worth it including most beers, a list of cocktails and free food all day from the selection of restaurants. You can also book a dinner in the "fancy" Italian restaurant, but you will need to dress up, something we didn't pack for. The has kid's entertainment most of the day and activities such as tennis, volleyball, aerobics, aqua aerobics and yoga for the adults.
There are allocated hotel shuttle times for the hotel shuttle that goes to downtown and back, plan your day around this. You can pay for a taxi or even walked into town like we did, about 2-3km, but remember it is 40-45 °C outside so take lots of water. The hotel is on a cliff very close to Sharm's main beach front, but there is no direct path.
