Come next week and we will know the extent of economic damage the pandemic or the Act of God, as said by the Finance Minister, caused on the Indian economy. The GDP data is set to come out on August 31st and it does not look good. According to ET NOW's poll, Q1 GDP is seen to contract 19% versus a growth of 5% seen last year. RBI too agreed that the economy is in a weak state and may contract in FY21. While none of this is a surprise to anyone, the question is how do we get out of this mess.
