Plodda Falls is truly a Hidden Gem in the Scottish Highlands. Just an hour west of Inverness you'll find Plodda Falls, a 130ft waterfall in a beautiful Scottish forest.
In this video I visit Plodda Falls, Dog Falls & the Glen Affric Viewpoint (in that order).
Plodda Falls can be found by driving to the main Plodda Falls carpark and walking for 5 minutes to the main viewing platform. You'll pass a mini waterfall before reaching the main 130ft one. The viewing platform is pretty much directly above the waterfall, so if you want a better view of the waterfall itself you can head down to the bottom - just be careful this path gets pretty steep and won't be suitable for everyone.
If you are visiting Plodda Falls I strongly recommend making the time to visit Dog Falls too! It's a 10-minute drive away and, whilst nowhere near as large as Plodda Falls, it's in its own beautiful setting with 3 walking routes in the stunning area.
In this video I follow the Red route to visit the Dog Falls canyon, then double back to the car park to follow the White route up to the view point. The view from there is one of my favourite on planet earth - stunning stuff Scotland!
