The United Kingdom has agreed to hand over the sovereignty of the Chagos Islands to Mauritius.
The Chagos Islands are a group of more than 60 islands in the Indian Ocean including Diego Garcia which has a UK and US military base.
After years of dispute over sovereignty, it secures the military base for the next 99 years.
