Advenza Liveried Class 57, 57006 & West Coast Railways 57001 haul a short rake of carriages through Wigan North Western on an ECS move from Carnforth to Ardwick, Manchester.
It was a rare catch indeed to see 57006 still sporting it's Advenza livery despite having been in WCRC ownership for quite some time. The short rake of five "Statesman Rail" branded Pullman carriages were being taken to First Transpennine Express' depot in Ardwick, Manchester wheel & tyre turning.
This southbound movment was routed through Wigan as to avoid Manchester City Centre during the morning peak, the northbound light engine movments ran the more direct route via Salford, Bolton & Chorley to the WCML.
