Again this has to be one of the best radios ever built for QRP portable operations. Filter, tuner RF gain and many other settings. Runs off 6 AA batteries that can be used inside the radio or via other battery power means externally, it is light and rugged.

I enjoy all aspects of the outdoors, be it hiking, biking, hunting, fishing or canoeing. Camping and survival are two skills I continually try and work on and stay ready and practised in the event these lifesaving skills are required.
I have had many teachers in my life and appreciate all that they have taught me, and I try to do the same thing.
Amateur radio is also one of my hobbies and past time, and it as well has taught me lots and has helped me meet people around the world. Family is of course the most important aspect of my life and has brought me the most enjoyable memories in life.
