Lets try this again!

Seems there was a problem with the audio when I initially uploaded this video, possibly related to the effects of the power outage as I was transferring the file. Fingers crossed the audio is better now. If not then we may have to call Day 8 a bust!

We were in for a hot day today! 38c was forecast with a cool change and thunder storms later in the day. We didn’t really get any thunderstorms (a shame, we love a good storm) a little rumble but nothing more. We did have the wind blow in and pick up quite a bit. I planned to finish a Christmas t-shirt I had started and then make the new Sewing Revival Traffic Light dress which was released this morning!

However, it was not to be! Our power was shut off at 2:30pm and not restored until 6:30pm. We also lost all internet coverage for the house and phone service. It was like being instantly transported back to 1985!
On the upside, I did finish both the tree from the craft advent and the macrame tree! So, it wasn’t a total loss.

I’ll have to wear something out of my existing wardrobe, oh well another day for the Traffic Light Dress.
